Riau Book - A number of villagers of Marga Mulia, District Rambah Sam, Rokan hulu choose to keep their money in Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes). This is proved by the number of public deposits in BUMDes Mitra Usaha Mulya which increased until Rp 1.4 Billion.

According to the village head who also the Commissioner of BUMDes Mitra Usaha Mulya, Sutamo admitted since the last few years people interest to save in BUMDes increased.

"Today BUMDes successes accommodate deposits from the public until Rp1.4 Billion. The high of people deposits proving that level of public confident to BUMDes is really high," said Sutamo.

"This is my Village bank. That is the right expression for BUMDes Mitra Usaha Mulya district Rambah Samo which succeeded to attract people trust to save their money in BUMDes." continued Sutamo

He also admitted that whole the deposits of Rp1.4 Billion was personal saving of member.

"Here people save their money, like saving in the bank," he said.

Furthermore, this people deposits can be a capital reserves that can be rolled by BUMDes, either to reduce the schedule queue of borrower or additional venture capital.

"This people saving will be able to be capital reserves of BUMDes and rolled out to other in need." He said. (Silsila Asri)
