Riau Book -Natural tourism potential, in the village of Menaming, District Rambah, Rokan Hulu (Rohul), Riau Province was very remarkable. But now his condition is still like a pearl buried and could not be utilized by the public.

This is proved by some of the natural attractions that exist in the village, beside the landscape which is still beautiful. It is necessary for government to find a strategic step to develop the tourism potential so society is able to utilize it for economic activities.

One of them is the dams of irrigation Menaming, which has not been polished by the governments yet, so the potential may utilize for economic development of society, although the potential is extraordinary.

Then, Siayan nature Waterfall, Risik River, Sampuaran Sei Rao and Sampuran parlangkitangan, which is not less beautiful as tourism site, if the government tried to develop, it would has good economic impact on the surrounding community.

Menaming Village Public figure, Lahutdin Lubis, expressed that now these potentials have ever been documented and submitted to the Department of Culture and Tourism (Kadisbudpar) Rohul. But until today these efforts have not been followed-up.

"We hope that this potential can be utilized, further it would open new economic opportunities to the community, because basically that natural tourism, beside provide benefit to the public, will also income source for the region, because it will be a new source of local government revenue (PAD ), "said Lahutdin Lubis, Wednesday (17/02/2016).

When asked, related to land acquisition, Lahutdin answered, if there is a seriousness of the government, the entire village government officials, ninik-mamak and the community is ready to take responsible if it will be submitted to the government.

"Yes, if the government is ready to build it, we also ready to put signature to release the land in order to made the tourism object which is be the main tourist destinations in this Negeri Seribu Suluk," said Lubis again.

Later in the same place, the village head (Kades) of Menaming, Firdaus Daulay explained that currently the most important was the opening of access roads to the site of the tourist attraction.

"If the road access is already open, automatically there will be new opportunities for economic development of society, so that there is good economic growth and the people can be more prosperous," he concluded.
