Riau Book - Vice Regent Siak Alfedri, Tuesday (16/02/2016), have opportunity to expose various tourism potentials in Kaupaten Siak, in fron of participants of the Regional Council (Musda) VI Association of Indonesian Tours and Travel agencies (Asita) Riau.

Alfedri on the occasion said, development of tourism is one of a main concern of the work program prepared which is arranged by him with Regent this year, because, it is not possible for Siak had to continue rely on oil and gas sector, given the conditions in world oil prices which declined until today.

Alfedri on the occasion described some tourism potential that can be relied upon in Siak, such as travel to know about history of the Kingdom of Siak, that is the Palace of Siak Sri Indrapura, this district has several historic buildings in general now serves as offices, residences, lodging and shops by residents Siak. Siak sultanate long history has left a legacy of Malay civilization awesome to be proud by the Indonesian nation.

"There was also the Siak Bridge which stands majestic, for religious tourism there are mosques Syahbuddin, which is a mosque of Siak Kingdom. The mosque was founded in the regime of Sultan Kasim I with a size of 21.6 x 18.5 meters. This building has been improved several times but still retains its original form, "explained Alfedri.

In addition, Alfedri also mentioned there are still many potential tourism in Siak district which fair and worthy as a tempt for tourists to visit, such as the Tomb of Sultan Kasim II, Lake Zamrud, elephants training and others.

"Here we ask for the support of various parties, especially Asita, in order to promote a variety of attractions, so it will be able to add PAD Siak, and certainly will benefit to the employers Tour and Travel," he hoped.
