Riau Book - The impressive performance was achieved by the Office of Communications and Information Technology (Diskominfo) of Riau Province. This year 2016, Diskominfo reach the first ranks of the media center management and contribution news on Infopublik.id.

This award is the result of the evaluation made by the Sub-Directorate General of Media Online and Tim Infopublik.id DFIs during 2015. The assessment was conducted on the contribution of the news that has been submitted by each of the manager of the Media Center of the provinces, districts and cities in whole Indonesia.

And the Riau provincial government is in the first place for two consecutive years, namely 2014 and 2015. Previously, in 2013 won the second stage.

The award was presented directly by the Managing Director of the Public Media Directorate General of Information and Public Communication Ministry of Communication and Information of the Republic of Indonesia, Sunaryo.

Which is then received by the Head of the Technical Unit Media Center Diskominfo of Riau, Mastar Mahad, on Wednesday (27/04/2016) at the opening of the Technical Guidance on Governance And Journalism Online Media Center, Sheraton Makassar.

On that occasion, Sunaryo asked the participants of technological building on Governance and Journalism Online Media Center to participate in the event seriously. Since, from this training, participants are expected to be able to manage the media center well. Thus, the role of the media center as a focal point for the dissemination of information can be done well.

Sunaryo explains, Ministry of Communications has built 225 media center during the period 2007-2013. Among these, only 70 percent are active.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive of training Nurlaili said, Technological building on Governance of Media Center and Online Journalism aims to provide supplies and vision in managing the media center.

The participants are 60 people consisting of 30 participants who received the media center, 2015, 20 people who have not been active participants in the management of the media center yet and 10 participants coming from the media center that actively sending news and photos on Infopublik.id.
